12 of my favorite recipes from October + links to make them- from sweet treats to side salads and main dishes
Apple, radicchio, fennel, and sweet potato salad. Possibly my new fav salad ever!!!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN FRIENDS!!!!
With Halloween comes the last day of October, which means it’s time for me to share with you all of my favorite recipes I made in October! Here, you’ll find all of the most delicious, top-of-the-list worthy food recipes that I’ll be making over and over again.
All of my original recipes in this list (aside from the monster bars) already been shared on my substack- all you have to do here is click on whatever sounds good, and you’ll be taken straight to the recipe. I hope you make these- they’re all winners!!! Full list below, enjoy <3
My mom and I’s hyperfixation dessert lately- I’ve made these with tahini, almond butter, and peanut butter- PB is definitely the way to go if you love it like I do ;)
Roasted squash, crisp apples, pecans, goat cheese, herbed chicken, a creamy balsamic dressing… this harvest bowl really has it all. This is my FAVORITE dinner to make during autumn, it has the best flavors!!!
My favorite energy balls- they taste like a fudgy brownie, but are made with whole food ingredients, such as: dates, cacao, and dried tart cherries. These delicious brownie balls make for a PERFECT nutrient rich snack on-the-go.
A double recipe post: creamy, autumnal squash and tomato soup paired with the BEST fall sandwich (if I do say so myself). Make the sandwich on the side for the sole purpose of dunking it in the soup, and thank me later.
Honestly, I impressed myself with this one… it’s one of those flavor combinations that’ll surprise you, and then you’ll be hooked. It’s SUCH a good one, super savory and autumnal!!
If you follow me on IG, you know I’ve been making LOTS of ice cream lately. This has been my favorite one… if you’re not a pumpkin fan, this will change your mind. Warm spices, sweetened with maple syrup, and a pumpkin cheesecake swirl create the most perfect fall dessert!!
The most refreshing, autumnal salad that lets the fall produce really shine. Sweet pears, bitterness from radicchio balanced with light and crunchy romaine, lots of chopped dates, and more. This and the previous apple radicchio salad are my all time favorite side salads!!!!
Umami-rich white miso, nutty toasted sesame, and a touch of honey for a bold flavor trifecta. That caramelization on the chicken will keep you coming back for more.. trust me.
Fair warning… these carrots are addictive. Sweet and umami caramelized carrots, paired with extra-nutty hummus from black sesame seeds. Naturally spooky, and naturally delicious.
This one sounds interesting, but lemme tell ya… the flavors in here are insane. The grapes get deeply rich in flavor from roasting, compare it to a red wine pork, but deconstructed (and more delicious). Topped with feta for a sharp contrast and paired with a super easy fennel salad for a perfect flavor combo!!!
You know it’s a good side salad when it’s requested by family to go with Thanksgiving dinner. This salad is hearty, savory, tangy, and everything in between; the flavors marry beautifully!! Try this on the side of a good steak for a restaurant quality meal.
I hope you love these recipes <3 truly some of my favorites, I’m in love with all of them (and after making this post I’ll be making these all again soon).
Thank you for being here, I appreciate all of you so much! I hope you all have a wonderful Halloween weekend, and I’ll see you on the next post :)
